Did you know that these foods and plants are toxic to pets? Unfortunately, pet deaths occur too often to unsuspecting owners so it’s always good to have a reminder about these toxic substances:

RAISINS are toxic to dogs and cats
CHOCOLATE is toxic to dogs
SAGO PALMS are toxic to dogs
ONIONS AND GARLIC are toxic to dogs and cats
TOMATOES are toxic to cats
MUSHROOMS are toxic to dogs
MACADAMIA NUTS are toxic to dogs

These substances are poisonous to pets and can cause a range of problems from gastrointestinal upset to death in extreme cases. Keep a poison control number handy at all times because seconds count in poisoning cases:
