A coiffed crowd of canines vied for the title of Derek Dog Saturday May 2 in the lobby of the Hotel Derek, a location usually reserved for a different breed of well-heeled guests. Tiny terriers, golden retrievers, an Italian greyhound, a French bulldog and even Houston's most famous bearded collie, Radar the one-time weather dog, showed up to compete in the annual fundraiser.
