    We have a seven year old female cocker spaniel whom we adopted 2 years ago from cocker kids (she was rescued from a puppy mill from which she was a breeder.she has laryngeal paralysis.
    she is curruntly being treated for an ear infection with trasaderm
    ;eye pressure xalatan and methaziamide;and bladder incontence with
    proin 75 and chewable diethylstillbestrol;and she is on purina weight
    management;schreded wheat and green beans for weight loss she weights
    28.3 lb
    we are senior citizens on a fixed income and are wondering if left untreated,because of the expense will this be painfull.

    Glenda…first, thanks or saving this pet! I would suggest that you call or email your (or any) veterinarian and ask this question; or call in to Dr. Beale on 740 am, Sunday evenings from 8pm to 9pm and ask your question; this blog sight is not monitored by veterinarians so it could be a long time before a vet may read your question and answer it…and it seems you need more immediate response. Also, you could call the Wellness center at the Houston Humane Society and see if they can treat your pet for a lower cost..their contact info is under “Resources” on this website.
