Wiener Dogs To Race at Sam Houston Race Park

Come check out a unique afternoon of live racing events as the Sam Houston Race Park hosts the Inaugural Wiener Dog Races presented by PetCo. on Saturday, June 13.
A series of wiener dog races will take place along with live horse racing and a pet costume contest open to dogs of all breeds. There will be an awards ceremony for winning wiener dogs, prize giveaways and more!
Pet owners can download registration forms online. Registration fee for wiener dog race participants is $15 per pet. There is no fee for the costume contest.
The event will benefit the Bruce Kapp Animal Fund.

Does anyone know what time the wiener dog race is on Sunday? I checked the Sam Houston Race Park Website but it doesn’t share information on when the dogs start. Thanks.

The wiener dog racing begins at 1pm and the costume contest is at 3pm. Sounds cute!
