Come check out a unique afternoon of live racing events as the Sam Houston Race Park hosts the Inaugural Wiener Dog Races presented by PetCo. on Saturday, June 13. 

A series of wiener dog races will take place along with live horse racing and a pet costume contest open to dogs of all breeds. There will be an awards ceremony for winning wiener dogs, prize giveaways and more!

Pet owners can download registration forms online.  Registration fee for wiener dog race participants is $15 per pet.  There is no fee for the costume contest. 

The event will benefit the Bruce Kapp Animal Fund.
