Support Local Animal Shelters, Rice Women’s Athletics and Have Fun With You Dog This Halloween!
If you know what a walk-a-thon is, then you know what a dog-a-thon is! The only difference is you get to do this with your best friend!
The Howl-O-Ween Dogathon is a great family day at Rice University for Owl fans and dog lovers alike.
This event will raise awareness and money for orphaned pets while promoting responsible pet ownership. The funds raised will be used to support all the Women’s Athletic programs at Rice University & local dog shelters.
Whether you want to walk with your best four legged friend, or on your own, there will be opportunities for both.
The event will begin promptly at noon, consisting of a 2k walk, starting in Rice’s inner loop beginning at Tudor Fieldhouse. Please remember to bring money to the event as there will be food, a kids zone, and more!
It just costs $25 to walk your best friend and raise some money for female athletes as well as raise awareness for pet ownership.
The Howl-O-Ween Dogathon is October 31, from 12pm to 3pm on the inner loop starting at Tudor Fieldhouse.
