Letter to the Editor: Please Help No Kill Houston Give BARC Cats a Second Chance

23 November 2009 112 views No Comment
Bett Sundermeyer of No Kill Houston informed us that NKH has found a new spot for BARC cats looking to find homes. The retail space, located at 11173 Westheimer near Wilcrest, will house cats and kittens from BARC who are ready to be adopted. Here is the letter from Bett:
As you may know, BARC cats have very, very few offsite adoption opportunities and very, very few cats are being adopted at BARC. We want to get these wonderful cats & kittens out to the public so they can have a chance to get a forever home.
The rent, electricity and insurance will total $1,200.00. We have $500 in donations, but need $700 more to cover everything.  We are taking donations through Chipin to help pay for it. Please help if you can.
Also, if you have time to volunteer for a few hours, we could use the help.
Thanks for helping the little fur faces.
Bett Sundermeyer, President No Kill Houston
