Kari Whitman’s Greener Pup, the signature line of stylish, eco-friendly dog beds created by Kari Whitman, are taking the eco-friendly pet product sector by storm. Kari is a trendsetting interior designer to the stars such as Jessica Alba, Katherine Heigl, Denise Richards, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Kristen Bell.
It is really amazing what Kari Whitman’s Greener Pup does – not only do they help pampered pooches reduce their carbon paw-print (each bed contains 70-120 recycled plastic bottles as filler, and is covered using the luxury fabrics from high end home projects, which otherwise would be headed to landfills), but 100% of the proceeds go to the Ace of Hearts Foundation, www.AceofHeartsDogs.com, Kari’s non-profit which is dedicated to saving shelter dogs on the day they are to be euthanized and placing them in loving homes. There are four beds to choose from with many fabrics, available in sizes S-XL.
Kari is a HUGE advocate for environmental preservation and lends her time to numerous environmental causes. She has been a special correspondent for Extra and has appeared on The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Inside Edition and Hollywood Green. She is a regular columnist on Pet Friendly Design in Dog Fancy magazine and is also writing a book about animal and eco-friendly design. Check out the beds at www.greenerpup.com.
