Can you believe the President of the United States pre-empted my appearance on Great Day Houston with Deborah Duncan?!! I was set to take the stage when W rained on my parade. The show was all about dogs (my favorite subject)...Reliant dog show, dog insurance, famous Houston dogs (Dusty B. the Rottweiler appearing in The Gary Houseman Story), Flyball dogs and homeless pets from local shelters.
And then there was MOI..I was going to bark about Houston PetTalk and how it rocks...but NOOO...George decided to have a press conference about Fannie Mae...well, my fannie wasn't too happy since I got up and braided my ears at 6 am for the show, fought I-10 traffic (which is death defying) and practiced my lines. But...there was one saving grace...I met James Bond. James is a dashing German Shepherd that whispered "Du bist schön"in my ear...I think I'm going to Germany for some Weiner Schnitzel!

I cannot believe that happened to you! I mean, "W" knows how traffic is here and all that goes into traveling at that time of day!
Why I'll bet he picked exactly that time to appear as he knew how many of us were tuned in to here you speak about my favorite subject. Who cares about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, those are stupid dog names if you asked me........
