Merlin pulled a trick from his hat…he took top honors of Best In Show at the Heart of Ohio Ferret Association (HOFA) Ferret Buckeye Bash Ferret Show.  It is the largest Ferret show in the US.

Why is that we dogs and cats have to eat dry, boring, processed pellets called “food” all the while our humans are sitting down to sizzling steaks, juicy burgers, tasty casseroles and yummy rotisserie baked chickens? And, right in front of our noses I might add!

Apparently total indiscretion is rampant among dogs in Houston. Who woulda thought! On Saturday, I was on “the beat” for Houston PetTalk at Rover Oaks Pet Resort for the “What’s Your Mutt?” fundraiser for PAWS Houston. You should have seen the parade of mutts who really didn’t care who their daddy was, but their humans did. They coughed up $85 bucks (for a good cause) to find out the ancestory of their mixed breed baby.
