I've decided to advertise, what now?

Congratulations! Your ad space is reserved after you complete your ad contract.

To reserve your ad space, just send your first month's payment and contract to: Houston PetTalk Magazine 14781 Memorial Dr., Ste. 510 Houston, TX 77079 Your space is reserved once we receive your contract and first month's payment. Your business will then be entered into our accounting system to be invoiced by e-mail at the beginning of the month preceding publication. Please note that payment for space is due by the 20th of the month. Artwork for ads is due by the 5th of the month preceding publication. Please e-mail your artwork to mmantor@houstonpettalk.com. DIGITAL SPECIFICATIONS We accept files from all major Mac and PC creative applications, including: Quark, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. We also accept PDFx1-a print - ready PDF’s generated from these programs. We do not accept artwork in Word, PDF, PowerPoint, etc. SUGGESTIONS TO HELP US MEET DEADLINES • Remove Spot, RGB, Pantone or Trumatch colors and convert to the CMYK colorspace. • Do not create PDF files with crop and registration marks. • You may want to refresh your ad, or ocassionally offer specials, coupons and calls-to-action for potential customers.

Being a PetTalk ad sponsor is about more than your monthly ad. We've spent nine years building brand power in print and on the Web and we want to put it to work for you. One of the most popular features is the monthly product guide. Each month we select a theme, which we will communicate to ad sponsors in a monthly newsletter. At that time, you can send in product submissions (with high-resolution manufacturer's photos) for them product guide. Our ad sponsors consistently see a customer response when they place their products in our guide. You can also keep your brand current by submitting articles and events. These may be placed in the magazine or on our Web site. We may not be able to accommodate every submission but we can promise it won't be published if you don't submit it. You may submit events for our calendar  or news items by the 5th of the month preceding publication. Please understand we must accept these on a first-come first-serve basis, so send them in early. We have also created a strong social media brand. Join us on Twitter, where you can find us using @HoustonPetTalk, and on our Facebook fan page. We love to promote our sponsors on these sites and we can attest to influence as seen by increased traffic to houstonpettalk.com.
