Callie And Clio Are Looking For New Forever Homes
Meet Sisters Callie & Clio – Both sisters came from the 2nd ward area of Houston. Their mama lived a very harsh life, suffering abuse and neglect by her owners, who eventually left her behind when they moved away from the neighborhood. She disappeared for a short time, perhaps searching for her family, but eventually a resident with a big heart found her roaming around the streets again. She began to feed her and eventually gained her trust so that she could be spayed but unfortunately, it was too late. On May 2, 2010 she had a liter of seven beautiful puppies under the finder’s house. The resident was able to find homes for all but sisters Callie & Clio.
Please help us find these girls a home. Both are beautiful black female lab mixes. They have been spayed and micro-chipped. They have beautiful black coats and are approximately 50 lbs. They are current on vaccines and on monthly heart worm and flea prevention. A little shy around adults but love to play with children.
If you cannot adopt, please help by networking their story.
