Free Cat Neuter From Houston Humane On Feb. 11
Show your cat you love him this Valentine’s, by helping him live a longer, healthier life. On Wednesday, February 11, 2009 the Houston Humane Society will provide a free neuter to the first 500 male cats which are brought to the shelter at 14700 Almeda Road. That’s a regular service fee of $40.00.
Animal overpopulation remains a community issue in Houston. Every day, 70,000 puppies and kitties are born to pets, which have not been spayed or neutered. This Valentine’s, the Houston Humane Society and pet owners can show what big hearts they have by helping keep the problem in check.
The HHS Wellness Center will make available all staff veterinarians on February 11, 2009 to provide this free and critical community service. This service is available to the first 500 pet owners and available on a first call-first served basis. Pet owners must bring an up-to-date rabies certificate (not tag) on the day of appointment, and all cats must be brought in carriers.
Please call 713-433-6421 to schedule an appointment and to receive pre-operative instructions. Or visit www.houstonhumane.org for directions to the shelter.
