iWALK For Animals Sunday Sponsored by Houston SPCA
The Houston SPCA invites animal lovers from across Houston and around the globe to “walk where you are” on Sunday, Nov. 6 as part of the first-ever iWALK for Animals. To aid the voiceless victims of animal cruelty and neglect, the Houston SPCA aims to raise $350,000 through this new initiative. Walkers who raise $100 will receive an original iWALK for Animals t-shirt. Registration and fundraising tips are available at www.iWALKforAnimals.org. To show their support for animals of all kinds, participants are encouraged to gather on Nov. 6 at sunset with friends, family and pets in their own neighborhood, at a Houston park or anywhere they choose to support animal protection and rescue in Greater Houston.

The Houston SPCA, founded in 1924, is Houston’s first and largest animal protection organization and shelter. Its mission is to promote a commitment to and respect for all animals and to free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. Every year, the Houston SPCA helps more than 100,000 abused and neglected animals, and the demand for its services continues to grow.
