picture 3 300x229 Mother Son Team Launch Meeting Place For Texan Animal Lovers on The WebAlex Lacayo teamed up with his mother Veronica Lacayo to create TexasAnimalRescue.com, a message board they hope will become an online community for animal lovers, rescue organizations and activists.

The Lacayos set up the message board as a support system for adoptions, treatment and transport for the the many thousands of animals looking for homes in Texas.

They launched the site on August 19 and already have more than 50 members. “We are positive that we will have hundreds of members very soon,” said Alex Lacayo. “The more people we have, the better we will be able to serve local animals.”

Alex, who is from Houston, points out that the site is not limited to just Texans, as it has already become a place for discussion among activists. The forum for animal photos and videos is already the most active.

Whether you are looking to adopt or want to offer help, we encourage you to check it out.
