Pumpkin Ice Cream Recipe

You’re not the only one that might like a little “something pumpkin” during the Thanksgiving holidays. While you are preparing for family festivities, take a little time to prepare your four-legged family member a treat too!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Water
2 Chicken Livers
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Solid-packed Pumpkin Puree

Bring the water and chicken livers to a boil and decrease heat and simmer for 8 minutes. Drain the liver and reserve the stock for pouring over food later if desired. Chop the livers finely. Combine the livers, yogurt and pumpkin in  a bowl, stirring til smooth. Spoon the  mixture into an ice cube tran and freeze for 4 to 6 hours. Makes 12 cubes.
