This facility is unprofessional and rude. I was turned away because my dog is a Staffordshire/Boxer mix. The lame excuse that an employee was bitten in the past was given with no other explanation.

How can a facility who claims to know dogs be so disrespectful to me when they have never even met my dog!? What a joke.

Needless to say, I will be using one of the other fabulous facilities in the area that does not have a breed bias.

The manager was unapologetic and even had the audacity to say that he likes pit bulls… if you like pit bulls, why are you turning them away because of their breed?

Ignorant ownership and unprofessional responses to my questions mean that I will NOT be supporting this facility. If they ban a breed based on one bad experience, I cannot trust them with my dogs.

I don’t know who Sarah met or what pet resort she happened to go to but I can tell you that Kickapoo Ranch Pet Resort folks are the best. Everyone welcomed us with no fear when we walked in with our
Doberman. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and professional. Very knowledgable on everything from nutrition to obedience training! The facility is beautiful and the owner/managers live on the premises. I would not board my dogs anywhere else.

Kickapoo Ranch ROCKS! We had been looking for a place to board our Basset mix ever since we moved to the area & we are sooooo thankful for KRPR. I don’t know who “Sarah” spoke to but I think she dialed the wrong number! All dogs taken to KRPR for day camp ARE put through a temperment test to make sure they will be appropriate & I am thankful they do. Keep up the wonderful work KRPR staff!
