My dog was at Cypress Falls Pet Resort from Monday at 6pm to the next Monday at 4:30pm. They charged me for 8 nights. That’s an extra $40. The owner tried to convince me they were right for not just charging a day care fee, and acted like she couldn’t care less about keeping me as a customer, even when I told her I’d just pay and not come back. Yes, I understand that their “pickup time” is 1pm, but please. $40 for 3 and half hours? Most other places (ex: Pet Paradise) have a reasonable late pick-up or additional day care fee. This business has no mind for customer service. If they treat me like that, I shudder to think how they treated my sweet doggie.
My dog is there for daycare for the first time. The staff is really nice and the facility is fantastic. I am betting he will come home as a tired puppy from playing all day long. Will follow up with a later report.
Oops forgot to say he is at Cypress Falls Pet Resort.

LOVE IT……….my dog goes once a week and he gets excited just driving up………the staff is really nice and helpful……highly recommend. This is our 4th daycare and by far the BEST.
I see The Pet Palace is listed on the site as a place to board and I feel all dog parents should be aware of the “care” they provide. We have used Pet Palace in the past for boarding and were very pleased however that is so not the case anymore. Our dogs stayed there this past weekend and the first sign that something had changed should of been the odor in the boarding area. We overlooked this and left the dogs for the weekend. This morning we noticed hundreds of small brown bugs all over the dogs as well as the areas where they sleep. Initially we thought they were fleas but after taking the animals to the vet we found out that they are actually baby ticks. Now all the dogs have to be on medicine for 3 months and the house has to be exterminated. Obviously we are EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED! Also this was a medicine mix up and we were sent home with the wrong dog’s (same name) medication. They ensured us that our dog recieved the correct medication while staying there but who knows.
Sorry to hear the experience was not the best it could be. I have had good experiences with Pet Palace and know they care very much about their clients so I hope you have discussed your situation with them. I will say this, my dogs have gotten ticks at very clean, excellent facilities so I learned the hard way that they must ALWAYS have tick preventative applied a few days before boarding or going to the vet. It only takes one dog to come into a facility, no matter how clean, to spread ticks to others and there really is no way for a facility to keep ticks completely away..just a friendly reminder that I learned for myself:)
My little girl went to Pet Paradise at the JFK location and they were absolutly amazing!!! My little one Emily a beagle loved all of the staff members. They sent me tons of pictures and videos and even had a birthday party for her free of charge!! I love the fact that they dont charge for regular playtimes sometimes you have to pay a arm and a leg to get your babie even to socialize with another dog. And I love the whole park-n-fly program they have too! My Emily had an amazing time and I can tell the staff really love the animals. We will difently be usuals!
