The third grade girls of Brownie Troop 13331 decided they wanted to work on a service project this spring. The girls discussed many ideas and then found something close to their hearts – their pets. While researching various local programs, they learned about Citizens for Animal Protection or CAP. Each year CAP assists 12,000 to 13,000 homeless, lost and neglected animals. The girls also learned that CAP had an urgent need for dry and canned kitten and puppy food in addition to regular pet food.
