How do you combine animal rescue with a night of fun, food, festivities and, of course, frozen margaritas? The answer is the 16th annual Mutts, Meows & Margaritas, a signature Houston fundraiser benefiting local animal welfare efforts.
Presented by Friends of BARC, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and Houston’s oldest existing animal shelter welfare group, the annual event brings together animal lovers and supporters for an unforgettable evening — all while raising funds to help animals in need.
The 16th annual Mutts, Meows & Margaritas will take place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm in the back party rooms at Cadillac Bar Houston, with Casey Curry serving as MC.
Tickets remain just $50 and include a delicious meal, two margaritas and an evening packed with entertainment and fundraising fun. Guests can enjoy a live auction led by a professional auctioneer, a silent auction, three exciting raffle baskets, a photo booth, merchandise, door prizes and free parking. And, of course, there will be plenty of stuffed animals available for guests to take home — as many as they can fit in their arms!
For those who want to make the evening a group celebration, table reservations are also available. Guests can reserve 10-top, 6-top or 4-top tables, with swag bags provided for each guest at the table.
