Blessing of the Animals
October 4 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Bring your beloved animal companions to Christ Church Cathedral for a joyful Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and creation.
All creatures great and small are welcome—dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, stuffed animals, and more. Whether your pet is a longtime companion or you simply want to give thanks for the animals who bring comfort, delight, and connection to our lives, you are warmly invited.
The service will be held outdoors in the Cathedral Cloister. Please keep pets leashed or safely contained, and bring water or any comfort items they may need.
