Adopt a Schnauzer!
Freeman and Bud are Schnauzer Rescue of Texas‘ longest running rescues, having been in foster care much longer than many others. They are staying at Almost Home Doggie Daycare & Boarding Kennel, and really want to be in a home.
Bud: Things didn’t work out in my former home. Trouble struck, a home was lost and I was part of the baggage that needed to go. Look at one of these pictures and just zoom in on my face. I look like a Schnauzer don’t I? Yep – part of my plan. And it worked. Here I am! I’m Bud and I’m a male, brown/tan terrier / basset mix of some kind or another and maybe, if I’m lucky, just a touch of Schnauzer! I love these SRT people…such big hearts! I’m about two years old and I weigh about twenty-eight pounds. I’ve got natural ears and a natural tail. I’m a very nice lad, very friendly and very calm. Quiet even. I guess I didn’t pick up the noisy Schnauzer trait! I’m so sweet that I’m excellent with children. I’ve been tested in that 
department! I’m a good guy! I’m crate trained and early indications are that I’m house trained too. Piece of cake. I’m good with other dogs and I like a little outdoor play time. I know this is a place for Schnauzers and I’m just kind of fitting in here but I bet there’s someone out there that could love me too! Freeman: I’m Freeman and I’m a male, something or other dog. My face close up almost looks like a Schnauzer. But clearly I’m not. I fall in their ‘and friends’ category! I’ve got natural ears and a natural tail. I’m about two years old and I weigh about twelve pounds. I’m a super friendly kind of guy. Always wearing a smile. Always. I’m very sweet and gentle. I think I would be very good around children…but I haven’t yet been tested with any. I am definitely friendly with other dogs and I have the tests to prove it!
