Barkitecture Houston returns for its 7th year to GreenStreet (located at 1201 Fannin in Houston’s Central Business District), October 23-24. The annual doghouse design event, benefitting Pup Squad Animal Rescue, will feature one-of-a-kind, custom-built doghouses for sale – all created by teams composed of local artists, designers and architecture firms from the Bayou City. While bidding on these artful creations, event-goers also will enjoy the chance to mingle with fellow pet-lovers during special “Yappy Hour” complete with live music, raffle prizes and other free entertainment scattered across The Lawn – an outdoor entertainment and event green space located in GreenStreet’s central block. Making a special appearance this year will be KHOU – Channel 11’s host of Great Day Houston, Deborah Duncan, who will serve as this year’s Yappy Hour M.C. Joining Deborah also will be Diane Caplan, Neal Hamil and Alicia Smith serving as Co-Chairs for the event.
