Massage Heights Houston Retreats Honor Upcoming Giving Season with Seniors and Their Pets

Houston area Retreats to host pet food drives and deliver meals to seniors

Massage Heights’ philosophy has evolved into much more than providing therapeutic services, it’s about being part of a larger wellness movement focused on helping people achieve balanced and healthy lifestyles and give back to the community. Houston area Massage Heights Retreats are proud to announce its support of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IMGH) Meals on Wheels and aniMeals on Wheels program throughout the month of November.

All month long, guests are encouraged to bring in cat and dog food and treats to Massage Heights Houston Retreats, in an effort to fill each Retreat’s fifty-gallon barrels from IMGH. The aniMeals on Wheels program was founded so that home-bound seniors on Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston program would not feel compelled to share their limited food and resources with their four-legged friends. IM collects donated pet food that volunteers deliver each month to seniors.

On November 4, Massage Heights Houston area Retreat Therapists and Team Members will also prepare, pack and deliver meals from IMGH’s Meals on Wheels facility to seniors in need around the community. Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston delivers more than one million meals each year to seniors in Harris County.
