Sept. 19th kicks off National Dog Week! Most dog people would say that National Dog Week is every week in their house—but this week is officially dedicated to celebrating our K-9 companions. Believe it or not, National Dog Week is 83 years old (that’s 581 years in dog years). It was founded in 1928 by Captain Will Judy to honor the canines that faithfully served in the military, as well as the dogs that provide loyal, enduring companionship to so many people across the nation.
