image009The Benefit Betties is a Houston based nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to our community and country through various charitable activities. What started as a simple care package to a friend deployed overseas then became a movement. One small package with a few items and pictures morphed into over 50 care packages in a year, hours of volunteer time at women’s shelters, and fundraising efforts for local animal groups.  Now, the Benefit Betties are broadening their efforts to support both local and national charities, as well as maintaining the on-going “Pinup Package Parties” program, which sends gifts to troops overseas.
