The Houston Humane Society (HHS) announces “The 12 Dogs of Christmas” and “Cats Fifth Avenue”, holiday adoption programs aimed at helping homeless animals find forever homes this holiday season. Now through December 31st, the 12 dogs that have been at the shelter the longest will have a special $50 adoption fee as well as 4 free training classes and a grooming certificate compliments of Lone Star Pet Lodges.  While not in the store itself, our fancy feline fashionistas have a special 2 for 1 adoption fee of $50!

All adoptions at the Houston Humane Society include: general health exam; spay/neuter surgery;, microchip; routine vaccinations; rabies vaccine; de-worming; heartworm test in dogs over 6 months and feline leukemia test in cats; and an adoption kit filled with lots of goodies and information.

HHS is conveniently located just 2 blocks south of Beltway 8 on Almeda Rd., only 6 miles south of 6-10, and just minutes away from the Medical Center.Because HHS is an open admission shelter, we constantly experience overcrowding and desperately need Houstonians to open up their hearts and homes and adopt one of our homeless pets today!  We have many pure breeds, designer dogs (mixed breeds) and cats of all sizes, shapes and colors.
