The Houston Humane Society (HHS) announces 500 male cat neuters will be performed for the general public for free at their location, 14700 Almeda Road, Wednesday, February 16th. Fix Felix for Free is an annual event HHS holds each year, and you must have an appointment. Houstonians can make an appointment for up to 5 male cats by calling 713-433-6421 or by emailing day, 70,000 puppies and kittens are born to pets that have not been spayed or neutered, contributing to the massive pet overpopulation problem that plagues Houston.  On February 16th, the Houston Humane Society and local cat owners are teaming up to help reduce those unwanted litters.  “Appointments fill up fast for this very popular community event,” said Monica Schmidt, of the Houston Humane Society.  “Be sure to call or email now to secure your cat a spot.”
