Two dogs rescued from BARC’s “Death Row” relax in their temporary home at Meadowlake

In effort to help dogs on “Death Row” at BARC (Bureau of Animal Regulation and Control), volunteers from Friends of BARC stepped in and recently saved two lives.  After Sassy and Trapp were saved, preparation was made for them to be placed at a rescue sanctuary in Colorado.  Unfortunately those arrangements have fallen through and now Sassy and Trap are looking for a foster or forever home in Texas.  These lucky dogs are calling Meadowlake their temporary home until a family is found for them.

Friends of BARC is in need of funds and fosters for their ever growing population of saved lives.  They are a non-profit corporation that supports the humane care and treatment of the animals in the City of Houston Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC).  For more information regarding Sassy and Trapp or Friends of BARC contact Cindi Hohle at cindi.hohle@c-a-m.com.
