This event is geared around getting your pet ready for Hurricane season and will be located at 7511 Monroe Road.
Unfortunately, during Hurricane Ike, many pet owners left their pets behind to fend for themselves because they felt that they did not have other options. The purpose of this event is to give the community the tools they need to prepare, not only themselves for hurricane season, but their pets as well.
The Hurricane Prep Event will also help educate the community on simple steps and provide literature on exactly what tools and steps can be taken to ensure the safety of their pets.
