We included this Christmas Themed Dog Treat Gift Box from Bonne et Filou in our December Secret Santa Product Guide, and we wanted to give a review to decide if we would put it on our dog lover gift list. This Christmas Box is brimming with 18 decadent handmade holiday themed treats macarons, bones, snowflakes, truffles, and trees.
Our two test pups included a Lab with “Lab-typical” interest in food and a more discriminating Collie, who turns her nose up at most dry/crunchy treats. As expected, the Lab inhaled each treat and eagerly looked for more. To our great surprise the Collie, although carefully chewed each treat, cleaned up every crumb off the floor. A Christmas miracle!
What we liked is they are handmade in the US with locally sourced, human-grade ingredients, and baked in small batches. The treats are very pretty and come in a variety of sizes making it good for both large and small dogs. We also loved the elegant gift box, making it easy to just add a bow, it’s ready for gifting. Each treat is individually wrapped and can be given as separate gifts to spread the holiday spirit to more pups.
What gave us paws about the luxury treat gift box is the price. Although the cost may seem a bit high, we feel that it’s worth the splurge for that very special pet who has been good all year!
Based on the overall look of the box, quality of treats, and the taste test, we would purchase this Bonne et Filou Christmas Themed Treat Box for a special pup on Santa’s Good List.
